Responsible Gambling

AztecFire AU is committed to promoting responsible gambling. We believe that gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment — not a way to make money or escape problems. If gambling is no longer fun, it is time to seek help.

Know the Risks

Gambling involves risk of financial loss. The house always has a mathematical edge over the player. Features like Hold & Win and jackpots are designed to be entertaining, but outcomes are determined by certified Random Number Generators (RNG) and cannot be influenced by strategies or betting systems.

Signs of Problem Gambling

  • Spending more than you can afford to lose
  • Chasing losses by betting larger amounts
  • Hiding gambling from family or friends
  • Borrowing money to gamble
  • Neglecting work, family or other responsibilities due to gambling
  • Feeling anxious or irritable when not gambling
  • Gambling to escape stress, depression or other problems

Self-Help Tools

Most licensed Australian casinos offer the following responsible gambling tools:

  • Deposit limits – Set daily, weekly or monthly caps on deposits
  • Session time limits – Limit the amount of time you spend playing in one session
  • Loss limits – Automatically stop play when losses reach a set threshold
  • Reality checks – Pop-up reminders of how long you have been playing
  • Cool-off periods – Temporary account restrictions of 24 hours to 6 weeks
  • Self-exclusion – Permanently or temporarily block access to your casino account
